i have a friend that i have been very close to and even told him that I love him. I have bought him food taken him to the movies and even helped him get a motorcycle which i made the first payment on and am thinking he is not going to pay anything for it.

I have been friends with this guy for over a year. We met for drinks a couple times but nothing came from it. He would actually avoid being close to me. He claimed he was scared of me, like I am better than him or I would hurt him and that any guy that I date is the luckiest guy. Then recently we started spending more time together, 3 times a week. It was going great!!! Great connection! An older women came up to me one time when he walked away and asked if he was my boyfriend, I said not really.. She said well he likes you a lot. I can tell by the way he looks at you and his actions. We are both very attracted to each other. He mentioned me meeting his parents and brought me around his closest friends and their girlfriends. Then he snapped.. All of a sudden, he misinterpreted a comment I made to make me seem like I was being a jealous girl (which I'm not) and claimed that because he didn't chase me, that I ended it because I asked for an item that I forgot at his house back. He also claimed I was on my schedule and saw him when I wanted to fit him in. Now its cut and dry. He says he doesn't want to talk or fix anything and is very cold. But told me he had no bad feelings towards me. Not only did I loose a guy I really liked but I lost my friend too. I would really like to fix things with him and show him that I am not the person he made me to be. Im not sure what to do. Did he stage or exaggerate a fight because he scared I will hurt him? Will time heal his wounds?

I have been in a relationship for 11months and being engaged for about 6months of it. the Last one week has been the most challenging. I do truly love this lady and can give my world for her to be happy but she seems to take the words of her friends more serious than mine. to start with, none of them has ever had a serious relationship and dont know what it takes to be in one, but she seems to see them as her mentors. I feel like i'm loosing my babe faster than the speed of light and i dont know what else to do. Pls i need serious help! we are meant to be getting married in four months time and that is gradually fading away. pls give me sincere advice.

I talked to this girl months and didn't use my real photos though it was me and my personality. I'm not sure if she'd be intersted but I could arrange to meet irl. I showed her what I look like and apologized but she's still mad. So here are what I think are my options and pros/cons

1. Don't go on the site and forget about her completely.
- Basically I would always wonder what if?

2. Try to apologize and hope she comes around
-She may not ever talk to me again and I'd hurt myself more in the long run if she rejected me and waste more time, thoughts and energy on her, but at least I'd know I tried my best

3. Create a new account and talk to her-this would let me start fresh in a way, but she might be able to tell my personality and certain things about me so idk if it would work and in a way it would be like lying to her all over again

He told me about some problem he had and I believed it. I started to give him some suggestion, but found out he was testing me. Did he really do this to hurt me or what?

I signed off on him when I returned, I saw this message and replied. After I told him I don’t make make that kind of friendship, I signed out again. When I signed back in, I saw his last message at the bottom:

He says: i know u want to sleep. okay no probs . I am thinking ur so angry at me.. but I really used those words, in case if i iam really in probs means how u xplain me to get off from tat probs..thats it...its a story.. bcoz I never get into probs situation....

I said: wts story. u lied abt that yesterday?

He says: hmm… coz i want to make u my best friend... to find out how u can guard me when I am in a prob.....

I said: u are a liar. i dont make friendships like that

He says: hmm… still u r in an angry mood.. i can understand.. but think from my side....best friend means he or she can give good decision to friend .. so just i checked u.. coz i really wana b ur gud friend. and now you are saying bye.

speaks for itself.

I would define friends with benefits as two people who have no feelings for eachother being sexually involved (in this case, just kissing).

And "a thing" (common with teenagers, as a boy and a girl who have feelings for eachother and are like a couple, but arent actually dating).

Me and my best friend, kind of have a friends with benefits relationship, but at the same time we have some sort of feelings for each other (we are not sure which kind tho, and we think it may just be lust). But we also hold hands and cuddle so we've decided that its in between both "a thing" and "friends with benefits".

So im curious as to if there is or isnt a name for this kind of relationship.

ok so me and this girl i met at work started as friends and about 5 months i told her i like her and she also liked me so we had been going out ever since and basically we were together but not official, she had took me home and introduced to her daughter and family and on valentines i got her flowers and a bear deliver to her other job and we went out for dinner so then the next 3 days we were still talking but all of a sudden she stopped i would txt her and she wouldnt reply and i noticed she would kinda flirt with this other guy on fb, so last sunday i took her home and i told her why wasent she responding to my txt's and she said shes been having problems with her phone and on the way she was grabbing my hand in the car and calling me babe, so then that sunday i called her and we talked for like 5 minutes, then like 5 min later she writes on fb "i jus want to get ur attention, i really wanna be all up in ur head' so the next day i txt her goodmorning and she txt me and i txt her back and she didnt reply and for the days she was wrting on fb "cant stop thinkin about u" cant wait to fall in ,love with u" and things like that, like if it was nottin and she was all up on some guy all of a sudden like nottin,they were like flirting on fb all of the sudden, so we didnt talk and this past weeknd at work i jus ignore her and she told her mom(who also works at the same job) and her mom was asking me y i wasent talking to her and she would just look at me, and when she saw i was ignoring her she went and posted on the guys page "miss you" then the next morning she erased it and on sunday she was writting "i want to say sorry but i cant" and that her pride was to much for her conciouus to say sorry and things like that and she just delete me on fb, so what am saying is why would she make it so obious that she was talking to someone fb and put things up like that like if it was nottin and i just seen on fb that the guy posted that hes in a relationship with her but she hasent. so this weekend i just ignore her and her mom ask me if she was my enemy and i didnt say anything else and later another co worker asked me if she was my gf and i said no and he said why not and i didnt say nothing andjust walked away. so she txt me yesterday and this is what she say " i meant to say this personal but i was to scared, i wanted to call you but i thought ill sound stupid, so i know am doing it the cowardly way but i just want to say im sorry for all the wrong i did to you, i had to say it cuz it was eating me inside, u deserve better than all this ok, take care and thanks for everything you did to me" so i didnt txt her back, was that the right thing to do? And I know for a fact that they are dating because she call each other babe and are all over each other as gf and bf and that they miss each other on facebook and yesterday her sister send me a friend request, which I have never met or even really talk to and i just noticed she completly block me on fb, so wazzup with this? plz help

This girl is shy, just about everytime I talk to her she asks me how my day is or how im doing. Whenever I talk to her face to face she never looks me in the eyes often time shes really quiet and often times I find her stumbling over word and laughing at stuff I say thats not funny. She even texts me out of the blue when I dont talk to her for awhile asking if im ok. Also before we really started talking she kept trying to start conversation on facebook, so when i started talking to her she started to open up, then she gave me her number without me having to ask for it. Lastly she pokes me on facebook when I poke her. Tell me what you think!

I'm a 17 year old in high school, and I'm currently going through my first breakup experience. At this point I'm actually trying to get over it, yet I'm finding it very difficult because this is the first girl I ever felt strongly for. So I've known this girl for nearly 5 years, I asked her out back in October, she said yes, then she broke up with me two months later (the very day of our 2 month anniversary). She said she still wants to be friends, but she won't talk to me as to why she broke up with me. Two months have now gone by since she dumped me, and we have yet to say a word to each other, and we see each other every single day (which is killing me). I think the reason I'm having such a hard time getting over her is because she won't talk to me. Any advice as to how I can get her to talk to me? Even if I can't get her back as my girlfriend, I'd like to keep her as a friend.

My ex-boyfriend who ended our 6 month relationship on terms that I still do not really understand.... a few months ago I made a vision board, of the things I wanted in my life, by ex boy was very curious to see this board and kept asking if I put a picture of him on it….(he expected me to put a picture of a hot guy, or him, and a luxury car and similar stuff) Well he finally saw my vision board and to his surprise it was completely different. My vision was a perfect life: filled with love, a husband, a home and 2 kids…. His face saddened when he saw my vision board… I could not understand why…

After our break up he still tells me how he is very attracted to me and says I'm beautiful, that I am such a nice person, i have a lovely smile, he likes talking to me, he enjoys spending time with me, he misses making love with me...etc on 3 or 4 occasions a few months ago he used to tell me he loved me (but doesn't say it anymore). Once while in a drunk state he said he loved me but couldn't give me what I was looking for..

We broke up 2 months ago(when he finally confessed his past - he is recently divorced, with kids, which I did not know while we were dating, he apologized for hiding it from me, saying that he didn’t know how to tell me) ,

then recently we started hanging together again, nowadays when I meet up with him, he behaves awkward, a bit frustrated. He doesn't make physical advances at me since the break up but just says he misses making love to me.. He calls me all the time and his actions show that he cares.

he calls and texts me all the time to check up on me and try to help with my problems(he is really a good man ), but because the reason he gave me for our breakup was vague, I confronted him again recently to ask why... and in the process I broke down, he apologized for hurting me, wanted to stay friends, and said he would leave it up to me whether to keep contact between us or stop it. Since I last confronted him we have not spoken for 10 days. (He said he would leave it up to me).
His divorce has affected him emotionally... so in my opinion he is a broken down man.... He also has problems with stress management and says the reason why he is so withdrawn and conserved is because of the painful experiences he has had in his life (He didn’t give me details) . In our last conversation he complained that I never gave him the chance to talk to me, he never felt that he could talk to me, not only about the divorce problem, but also other problems that he has faced in his life... Then after our long final conversation he told me that he really likes talking to me, but he will leave it up to me..... In a way I feel I should have focused more on him and shown him love and support, because I neglected him and hid my feelings, some how to protect myself...

He told me that he still had feelings for his ex wife, but their relationship/marriage would never work out..... In a way I do hate him because if I’d known the truth from the start I would have been more cautious about my feelings, but he did make me fall in love with him intentionally ... .
We had a perfect relationship before the break up, we got on well, he was caring, always talking about me to his friends, always making an effort to make me happy and trying to find signs if I loved him. He would often ask his friends if they thought I loved him… But he recently said we are wrong for each other so we should end it now instead of later to avoid pain.

Pls tell me what's wrong ? Why doesn't he want to be attached to me ? I don't know why
he says we are wrong for each other.

I have been with my boyfriend for almost 4 years. He has Erectile Dysfunction. We are both really into working out, but before we met he took a lot of supplements that messed with his hormone levels, plus he was 30 years old, and Im the first girl he ever had genuine feelings for and respect for, so I think he put a lot of pressure on himself. Well, its still an issue. He works in Iraq now (he works for 3 months and then comes home for a month) so you would think when he comes home we would be all over each other...well its not that way. If Im aggresive, it makes him feel bad. He has Cialis and Viagra, but he doesnt even take them most of the time. He says he just doesnt have that much of a sex drive, but I know he watches a lot of porn and masterbates, so Im not sure what I can do to turn him on. I feel like Ive tried everything, and it just makes me feel horrible. I love my boyfriend, and Im an attractive girl, but Im starting to lose hope. Do I have a life time of this to look forward to. Advice and suggestions would be appreciated.
