the real question is: How many perfectly sound Pit Bull Terriers are being euthanized daily at kill shelters. And its all because of irresponsible owners and breeders. Sad and such a shame.

Find a new vet. There is no reason what so ever to sedate a dog just for vaccinations. A muzzle? Absolutely, if your dog will try to bite but never sedation.

my dog was DX'd with hypothyroid. Her medication is for life. And yes, I agree with the 1st answer. Your Vet should have told you how long and you should be asking them, not this forum.

go to social services or welfare. They can help with food expenses at least. Asking a bunch of internet strangers sounds like a scam if you really need help.

Go to some conformation shows and talk with owners. You can also start 1st by buying a book on the specific breed and check the breed standards.

you are a dog trainer? You cant even spell Pit Bull correctly. You should learn your breeds a little better before you give advice. The American Pit Bull Terrier is an excellent family breed. You dont have to train them any more than one should any other breed. Meaning ... ALL breeds should be taught good manners at least. ALL breeds should not be left unsupervised with children.

Dogs shed fur, it cant be stopped. You can reduce the amount of fur in your home by brushing your dog regularly, outside. Olive oil is okay for skin and coat but Fish and flax seed oil is better.
