Please....re-think...

AOL answers, seems good in theory....shows bad in definition. People are wanting instant responses with others who have dealt with similar situations or those who have access to resources. Many of the participants on this site are giving information that could or will compromise AOL in some way, as they are not legitimate certified help. Time to rethink this site and re-evaluate the proposed agenda.

Funny, it was working quite nicely until AOL took it over and then dumped hundreds of disgruntled folks from the boards on us and started using 3/4 of the pages and posts and bandwidth to sell advertising no one wants.

Working quite nicely? I think not....unless its about fluff.

Cali, I think you expect too much. You want free, instant gratification, like we were genies, laying-in-wait for you to issue a demand. Too many people come here and expect us to diagnose their health problems, fix their cars and solve their social dilemmas, like we have magic wands.

AOL Answers was never designed or intended to take the place of professional help or advisors. If the question is reasonable, we often can give enough info for the asker to find the answer he/she is looking for. However, because of the high volume of jackasses that have ended up haunting this site, very few reasonable, rational people bother to post their questions here anymore.

The people from the boards ruined a great product and now they want to whine about it and pester folks who were happy over here. STFU already.

Cali, the sad thing about AOL is that there is no one there to think. No one home. Nothing happening. Nada. They have Terms of Use, which they do not stand behind. In short: AOL does not care. I would dearly love to find a site where people were screened before asking or answering. If there is a good one out there that allows free speech, but not profanity or threats or harassment....lead me to it!
